Tests should answer a question — not simply be done because they are available.
Sometimes, after talking to you, we may suggest an investigation that could help clarify what is happening. Femnee currently makes some investigations available at subsidised prices.
We will explain why a test may be useful before you decide whether to have it.

The discussion is with a doctor, not simply the person performing the scan.
If you would also like copies of the ultrasound images, these can be prepared and sent to you by email for an additional £10. Your typed report is included in the £25. The £10 charge applies only if you would also like the ultrasound images.

AMH can provide useful information about ovarian reserve, but it is not a test of whether you can become pregnant naturally. Its meaning depends on your age and the reason the test was performed.
Other blood tests may sometimes be useful depending on the question you are asking.
Where Femnee offers these, we will tell you the price beforehand. You will receive a copy of the laboratory report, together with a brief summary of its implications and an opportunity to discuss the result with a doctor.
Having a consultation, scan or blood test through Femnee does not commit you to further investigations or treatment.
Sometimes information and reassurance may be all that is needed. If something needs further attention, we will explain the findings and the available options.
You are welcome to take your reports and results to your GP and continue your care through the NHS.
